MY spaghetti sauce could beat up YOUR spaghetti sauce...

For those of you that can't identify all of the ingredients in the picture because you don't have mad chef skills like myself pshyeah, up until last year, I had no idea what a Leek even was. So don't worry yourself, there is still time to reach my level of superiority in the kitchen.
they are:
1. Parsley
2. Garlic
3. Bell Pepper why "Bell?" anybody?
4. Eggplant
5. Basil
6. Leek
7. Tomatoes after they were pureed
8. Zucchini
9. Carrots
10. Lentils
11. Onion
That's...count them... 11 vegetables in my "Hide the Vegetables from the Toddlers Sauce" And it is OH-SO-YUMMY!!! Luke even loves it. Oh, and the finishing touch is Mascarpone cheese.

Thanks for stopping by the blog. So far, I have just bought mason jars at Wal-Mart or Maceys. But, let me get back to you on this one. I am asking around to see if there is a "best" place to get them. Lovely family!

OOhh that looks yummy! You look like quite the little Martha! I will definitely have to try that recipe...Halle is the pickiest eater anyone has ever met so I am always trying to trick her. All of the mason jars I have ever bought I got at the DI but I dont know if there is one around you... maybe a second hand store.... I pay like a quarter!!

Okay, try this site for mason jars... www.canningpantry.com/ball-quart-mason-jar.html. They actually have lots on good stuff! But, I looked around and that seems to be the best price I can find. They have 12 quart size jars for 10 bucks. Wal-Marts web site is selling them for 17 bucks. Shipping might be 10 bucks, but if you get a few cases of jars it would still be worth it. Also, on ebay I was finding a number of different sellers who had 12 packs of quart jars for a total (shipping included) of 15 bucks. Ace Hardware also sells them, if you have one of those. Where do you live??
