Ah, She took it like a man!

Well, the moving company moved us in on Monday of this week so I had to entertain the kids and keep them out from 9am - 4p.m. Well, we finally had to come back around 2 so they could get a break from me. Porter, Afton and I camped out on one of the bathroom floors and watched a movie while the movers finished up. Not even 30mn. had passed when we heard a knock on our door and it was one of the movers asking "is that your Volvo?" (mind you, parked a block away on a random street) I said, "uh yes" and they sheepishly said "we hit it trying to get out of here." I told Luke he needed to take care of it because I was going to cry, as this would put me above my maximum stress capacity :) We still are not 100% sure how this accident was remotely possible! (Luke said the driver must have been drunk and mildly retarded)

Just wait, it gets better!

Tah dah!

This is the front passenger tire...because it was dragged 25 yards from a parallel position to the curb ending up in a perpendicular position

Oh my goodnes!!! Aaron just happend to be looking at the computer while I was looking at this, and we had to just start laughing because I swear you guys are just having to deal with way more than the average should. I want to just come give you a huge hug and take you to a spa. Hang in there, I don't know how you're doing it but I've decided if anyone can you can!

You have got to be kidding! So what is the ending of to this story?! Do you get payment for emotional distress? What is it with movers anyway?? Man when we moved here 2 years ago I was so glad when we landed in San Diego and got rid of the Uhaul - I thought I was going to have a meltdown from the stress - I can't even imagine having 2 tiny kids and moving multiple times! It will be funny a few months from now. =) I hope things start going better for you - we all miss you!

These pictures make me sick. How in the world did they manage to hit YOUR car that wasn't even by your house. I need to get the whole story one of these days. Glad it's fixed at least.

Oh and your talking about the moving from hotel to hotel before finding a house here was giving me gag reflexes...remembering the nightmare of hotels and all the packing/unpacking. We stayed in the same lodge for the whole month here but were in about 10 hotels cross-country before that. I'm in NO hurry to ever travel again.
